Lakes Animal Physiotherapy provides specialist equine and canine physiotherapy services throughout Cumbria & North Lancashire.


Owned and run by Rebecca Sisson, a fully qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP), Lakes Animal Physiotherapy provides a mobile service which includes:

  • Manual therapies, including massage, myofascial release, mobilisation and stretches

  • Electrotherapies to enhance healing, including laser therapy, ultrasound, TENS and PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field therapy)

  • Rehabilitative exercise prescription to restore normal movement following an injury

By combining a scientific, evidence-based approach with care, compassion and understanding, individualised treatment plans are produced to meet your animal’s specific needs.

Insurance approved

As a member of the NAVP, physiotherapy treatments provided by Rebecca are pet insurance company approved. Physiotherapy is often covered by your pet insurance under “alternative therpaies” but you should check with your policy provider if you’re not sure.
